Nimitz Class carriers, the largest carriers ever built, are about 97,000 tons. These things are more than twice the size. I think that is the best comparison. What it tells me is that this thing is probably too big.

The size of the Harmony of the Seas, and most other civilian vessels, is measured in "gross tonnage," which is a measurement of internal volume. The Nimitz and other warships are usually measured in terms of "displacement," the amount of water that the ship displaces; i.e. its weight.
According to Wiki, the Oasis-class ships (of which Harmony is the newest) displaces about 100,000 tons.
