They didn't find this tape. Trump leaked it to them. Then, when they mentioned it in an interview, he went silent and hung up on them, pretending that they caught him in a lie and he didn't know what to say.
The Washington Post ran with the gotcha story. Trump hasn't stopped laughing at them. This guy is the best at media manipulation there has ever been. He is absolutely brilliant.
