Much has been lost over the past year.

As one of the older members here, I totally disagree. What has been done here in the past years is better than what was done in the heady early days. Back then we didn't quite realize that GOPe betrayed Gingrich and the contract with America the second they actually took power. This last time we learned that the Republicans are set up to screw us worse than the democrats.

We have worked through and vetted a tiresomely long list of possible presidential candidates. We have pointed out the flaws of each, and we have learned the error of the old ways arguing liberal versus conservative, which we thought was substantive, but in fact was just a door swinging on the uniparty hinge always opening for those who were trying to profit at the expense of America. We have nailed the last nail in the coffin of GOPe and were successful in communicating to the sellout GOPeers that they are the ones inside of it.

Anyone here remember Jeb! - Jeb! who? Never heard of him, That is how effective we have been.

We have figured out a direction that our country must go to be our great country again. It must worry about America and Americans and stop worrying about the rest of the world or selling out to globalist frauds selling us a bill of goods.

It's been a very good year for FreeRepublic indeed. It's been the best ever to date.

And we do have a great task ahead of us. We need to hold Trump accountable to live up to his promises and stay on the straight and narrow as Washington DC tries to knock him off course. We need to support him when he works for us and let him know our great disappointment when he gives into the K-street crowd.
