At your recommendation I’ve downloaded both the Windows and iOS versions, and they seem to work pretty well so far.

One thing I love is that you get a “wallet” in which they put ad revenue, which you can use to support your favorite sites, like FreeRepublic.

Go to the site to learn more.

BTW, it really is faster, and really does block ads.

The interface is very well done and attractive.

Beware, though, that this is not yet a full production release, so even they say you may encounter problems. I heartily recommend that FReepers give it a whirl.

They have versions for Mac, too.

The one thing I have noticed is that the JavaScript support seems to mimic Chrome’s. I say this because a web site I have programmed encounters the same errors that Chrome does. I have to fix the bug. It’ll be interesting to see if it fixes it for Brave, too.

Another one that is new and has a lot of great features is Vivaldi. I have tried it and I like it a lot.

From another source: "Eich and his new company built the browser on Chromium, the open source browser from Google on which Chrome is built."
