What happens when the 4 foot long wipers get worn and chatter on a long drive?
I get so tired of modern designers “reaching”. About 100 years ago, John Browning designed some firearms that still hold their own against modern designs.
I actually talked my Dad into buying it to replace his ‘68 Rambler Rogue. He was an AMC guy. I used to take it 4-wheeling and probably broke the front axle jumping it. AMC replaced it even after warranty. Couldn’t figure out how a middle aged man would’ve broke it.
That was when they really started paying attention to drag...
Where is the periscope so you can see to drive?
That sure is going to be a beating on a 110* day.
My first thought as well
Long haul truck drivers will have a great time ogling chicks and what is going on inside the car as they pass.
Now that’s funny. I don’t care who you are.
The company markets it as the Toaster Oven Model.
There was a time in NYC when stolen Blaupunkt car radios were a hot item for fencing. Many a windshield was broken as thieves made off with the radio. One motorist thought he could be spared by putting up a sign on the car window that said, “No radio in this car.”
His window was duly shattered, and scrawled on his note was, “Get one.”
Does it fly?
Kinda looks like Adam West’s Batmobile.
Man, I bet the solar energy inside that cabin is intense. Does it come with a lifetime supply of sun screen?
Truckers might enjoy the view
Blaupunkt car radios kept us busy doing insurance work way back when great radio not very good audio
Things were so bad then, the initials
for BMW were said to mean “break my window.”
I knew a guy that had a morning paper route he wold toss papers and get a radio or two a week just toss paper break window steal radio and keep going he even got asked by a patrolling cop one day hey have you seen anyone in the neighborhood that dint belong he said nope
I worked for a guy who owned several classic Corvettes, an AC Bristol (like a Cobra) in need of a complete restoration, Mercedes Benz’s and Jaguars.
His everyday driver as a Pacer. He really liked it.
So, the passengers will be steaming like lobsters without the shade. Genius. I rarely pull the shade back on my sunroof as the tropical sun is just too hot even with tinted glass.
