Nor did I, or that the wreckage would still be there after all these years. RIP.

Too much trouble to "right click" and "open in new window?"

I’ve been up to the B-52 crash near Moosehead Lake. The landing gear was the most intact of the remains, just as in this video of the B-29.

I did, with this article. And did everything except push the "Post" button.

You didn't answer my question. Why link only?

Like this?

This incredible drone footage shows the historic remains of a plane which crashed on the moors above the Derbyshire more than 60 years ago.

The B29 Superfortress, nicknamed Over Exposed as a tribute to its photo-reconnaissance work during the war, crashed at Higher Shelf Stones in Glossop on November 3 1948.

All 13 members of the aircraft's crew were killed in the disaster, and its wreckage was scattered across the moors. The crew was just seven minutes away from their landing site when they crashed.

Pooter extraordinaire :)

Admittedly, Daily Mail has become harder to post a thread from.
