That’s offensive.
Don’t buy Jap cars.
I’m with you.
Buy American.
When you buy a Prius, you are required to go 5 miles below the limit when in the left lane.
“Dont buy Jap cars.”
Agreed, it destroys the domestic crap industry. My 2000 Toyota 4runner Limited is at 275k and showing no signs of slowing down. It has a locker and a 2 inch lift.
It does everything so well I cannot justify getting rid of it.
It does everything Jeeps do except the breakdowns. All windows, rear window, and moonroof open, its about 85% of a convertible. When everyone else scrambles to put their tops up due to rain, I push a button.
Get it detailed, its a luxury SUV for date night.
Fold back seats down, it carries nearly all the cargo that a pickup with a shell will.
Then there’s a 2 inch receiver hitch for a trailer that does all the rest.
Nothing American built compares.
And I wound up in a Prius rental car once want was very surprised that it was a fantastic car. I drove it all weekend and was amazed when the fuel pump clicked off. It was like free driving almost. Comfortable, roomy, and really nothing to say bad about it. Any objections to it are better directed towards the people who like to buy them.
I'll take my "Japanese" car made in Tennessee by well paid non-union workers in a red state. I support capitalism. Thank you very much.
I identify with the poster here. I don't own a Prius but might consider one down the road. I also go to Whole Foods because I like to eat well and I buy Apple products because they are well made, designed by Americans and perform extraordinarily well. I hope it irritates liberals to no end that conservatives are co-opting their trendiness on their own terms.
Bought my first one in 1988...
I would have bought American except they were complete and total garbage...
How many American car manufacturer can build a car that at a quarter million miles still run like a champ with basic maintenance ?
It also makes you a better citizen: Thats offensive. Dont buy Jap cars.
