One think I remember was Ted Bundy saying he had been addicted to pornography. I think it does degrade a person’s mind.

Anything to escape individual responsibility. Bundy's last-minute attempt to deflect from his own evil, by blaming "porn", was laughable.

Blame the gun. Blame the video game. Blame the alcohol. Blame the drug. Blame the porn. Blame Donald Trump.

I have an idea: when an individual does evil, how about we blame the individual who chooses to do the evil, instead of ascribing their actions to some external factor?

Placing blame on external influences is a classically totalitarian, nanny-state impulse. Under such a paradigm, a powerful State apparatus must necessarily (and increasingly) step in to save people from themselves.

How? By curtailing Freedom, of course, and imposing Tyrannical Law.

You’re right; frankly, inclinations like Bundy’s were already there. Porn is just a scapegoat and a tool. Not a reason.
