U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte was robbed at gunpoint while in Rio de Janeiro overnight Saturday, NBC News has confirmed.
Following conflicting reports — including the IOC denying any incident took place — Lochte himself confirmed with NBC’s Billy Bush that he and “three other swimmers” were robbed at gunpoint.
Lochte’s mom had earlier told other news organizations that the robbery happened at a party. …

I love how the Bonzos and Clintoons tell us that we little people don’t need to be armed because we live in a “highly civilized society”. LOL! Also,on another trip to Rio my girlfriend and I took a day trip to a nearby National Park that was situated on a hillside (Rio's a very hilly city,like San Francisco).As we climbed the hillside the guide pointed out a huge collection of shacks on a nearby hillside.She said it was a "favela" which means "slum".She said it was so violent and lawless that the Brazilian *Army* dares not try to enter it *during daytime*.
A beautiful city for sure and I'm glad I've seen it....but never again!

Brazil has been exposed before the world as a stinking cesspool. As Chicago would have if they had “won” the privilege of hosting the Olympics.
At the rate the athletes are being robbed they may end with more medals then the athletes!
There was also an incident where the press bus was blasted with gunfire from the locals and the Brazilian government claimed it was just rocks.
All large organizations whether they be IOC, governments, or whatever, always do what they do best. They just can’t help themselves.
They lie.
Rio is a dangerous hell-hole.
So is most of Chicago.
