Yes. We have many of the JSO DVD’s, and enjoy listening to them often.

I’ve never been to one of his concerts, but I hope to one day.

It would be nice, but I don’t think we’ll see any here in the Southern California area.

His last name appear prominently in crossword puzzles.
When crossword creators get tired of 'lieu' they use 'rieu' in lieu of 'lieu.

It would be nice, but I dont think well see any here in the Southern California area. Probably not. Radio City and a number of concerts in Florida are all that I know of, but I am only a recent fan. Maybe others here can chime in.

You are most welcome! I’m happy to see others here who also appreciate and enjoy his music. :-)

Americans aren’t into the classics as are say Europeans, and other countries around the World. The draw isn’t there other than say Radio City. Florida is where the NYC migrants go, so would stand to reason there could be an audience there.
He draws huge audiences. Traveling the World costs money, so he needs to book such large audiences. Hard to do in the States where pop is king.

His is such a prolific artist, and a true artist, that there has to be some piece or other for everyone. :)

He reaches out to all. Big band, Rock and Rieu, and the ladies are gorgeous. Carmen Monarcha, and Marucia Lewhurse are eye candy, and sing like angels. They have fun entertaining, and everybody in their audiences enjoy them right back.

Yes, I too love my DVD’s .. the music is so soothing - and the staging is so beautiful .. it takes away some of the harshness of the day’s events.
