Stop throwing your money into the NFL Toilet
“In other news, the Pope is Catholic, bears sh*t in the woods, and water is wet.”
Well I’m not so sure about the Pope being Catholic, but otherwise your spot on.
College teams typically schedule their earliest games against pushover opponents. The pushovers agree to the mismatches because they get exposure and money into the program that wouldn’t be there otherwise. So, to a degree, colleges use games for tuning-up/evaluation, too. The difference is those games still count and are not guaranteed wins.
I think the NFL should do away with what used to be called exhibition games entirely and go with an eighteen game season.
The NFL has three conferences: NFC, AFC, and the SEC.
Wouldn’t it be great to watch the college football champ play the worst NFL team? There used to be an American Bowl where the best collegiate players played a professional team. This quickly became as silly and lop-sided as you would imagine, and was consigned to the ash pile of history.
The bathroom line is probably shorter too
I’ll say, and out here in the country, we have trees. :>)
