[Fox was threatened.]

I find them particularly loathsome because they have the viewers believing the really ARE ‘fair and balanced’ when they are far from it.

Maybe after THIS election cycle the scales will fall from their eyes.

Unjustified credibility is a terrible, terrible thing.

IIRC, it was Van Jones who talked about infiltrating the opposition by posing as one of them. It’s happening all around us, and the most dangerous people of all are the ones who have a really good cover and use it to hush/censor what is dangerous to the regime even while gaining street cred by encouraging talk about what seems threatening but has no avenue to make a difference. The regime is happy to be in our inner circle, egging along all kinds of theories that keep us feeling like we’re resisting when in reality we’re just chewing the fat.

But it allows them to spy on those who may be trying to get results, and nip anything potentially effective in the bud. It also allows them to feed disinformation to trip up those who get too close to the truth.

Camouflage is the best way to hunt. And not just if you look like the environment, but ESPECIALLY if you look like another trusted member of the herd being scoped out.

Fox had to be allowed to air “dangerous” stories about Obama and his handlers, because that’s what it takes to have the credibility necessary to deceive/propagandize “conservatives”. But when it came to the stuff that really could have made a difference - specifically Obama’s eligibility problem and his Muslim leanings - Obama’s handlers acted quickly to nip the truth-telling in the bud.

And all the wannabe “conservative” pundits mimicked the hostages reading off the lines they were forced to say on camera, because they think like junior high popularity queens and because they didn’t know that the person on the screen had a gun to their head when they said they were fine and being treated well...

Most people have no clue the psy ops being played on them. The most effective opponent is the one who lets you think he/she is on your side. The regime used that with Fox, and they use it a whole lot of other places too.
