I usually go for something more tender myself. But If I’d have seen him, I’d have to harvest him.
BTW I’ve got a paleolithic elk horn mount cast out of polymer resin mounted on an elk cape I took years ago. I had a friend who’s passed now cast it for a museum and he made me one. It’s over 8 feet across and fits in the cathedral ceiling over the fireplace. That’s my only trophy mount. There’s an obsidian tipped spear laying across the antlers.
