Trump has a very good chance of winning 265 electoral votes by winning the following states, FL, NC, OH, IA, AZ and NV. His problem comes in that he needs to add one more state from the following list. CO, NH, WI, MI, NM or ME.
The Reuters/Ipsos polls have some good news for Trump on both sides of the equation. In both Nevada and Colorado, their most recent finding shows Trump two points up. Trump is leading 44 to 42 in Nevada and 45 to 43 in Colorado.
Trump is also drawing to a tie in Wisconsin and Michigan in the latest Reuters/Ipsos polling. In Wisconsin the two candidates are tied at 42. In Michigan they each pull 39.
Some other polls in Colorado show a different picture, but the state has been somewhat volatile. It may be hard to get a good feel for Colorado until very close to the election.
It would not be a surprise for Nevada to go to Trump. Much of the polling in the state is showing a close race.
Wisconsin would be more of a surprise than Nevada. The conventional wisdom labels this a blue state, but Trump has turned Ohio into a likely red state because of its demographics. Wisconsin shares some substantial similarity to Ohio demographically, so it's certainly a real possibility.
Last, Michigan is a surprise. Most polls do not show Trump very close there. But with Trump's different message, Michigan very may be there in the end if Trump takes the lead in national polls. Follow my new account on Twitter for daily updates on the election!
WOW!
That is huge news especially after all the fraud polling going on.
He’s taking it to her turf.
Wow, indeed!
If Irecall Hillary was up like 20 points in MI & lost to Sanders!!!
So if TRUMP is tied right now, it should be a win! lol
I knew there was a reason he was in Michigan last week. He doesn’t just waste his resources.
These are all OLD polls. Pre-debate. I wouldn’t rely on these, unfortunately.
Why is Paul Ryan not out on the stump helping to bring in Wisconsin??
His absence is speaking volumes about where his loyalties lie ...
Welcome news!
GRRRRRREAT point stonehouse01. Unipartarians find Trump deplorable. There PR man should be locked up along with his other gang members.

Give it some time!
The VP Debate was ended just 12 hours ago and we know that Pence won!
With the Pence debate victory, the Trump-Pence Ticket will expand their lead.
I understand your point, but Hillary didn’t do anything to change the momentum during the debate. I think these are more accurate than the press wants us to know.
Lol at this article. He wins Colorado he has it in the bag. He doesn’t need the others except for getting over 300 ev’s
Wisc Poll - 9/16 - 9/29. Poll started 3 weeks ago
Colorado Poll - 9/16 - 9/29. Poll started 3 weeks ago
Also, the NV poll and CO polls have a more recent poll right about those, CO shows Crooked up by 11.. So... why does the author cherry-pick?
No need to instill false hope here.
while checking some scores at ESPN i clicked on a link for nate silver’s 538 (see below) and he spells out a pair of EV map...
the jist of the article is clinton will win North Carolina yet in the instance where clinton beats Trump 271EVs to 267EVs he puts michigan (traditional blue state) in Trumps column...in another map where its 274EVs for clinton to 264EVsw for Trump the states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota (traditional blue states) are in Trump’s corner...in both instances North Carolina is blue...
so we are to believe in a year where Silver feels states that have gone rat for years in presidential elections may now vote for Trump, a red state such as North Carolina which obama never won will be in clinton’s column??? bottom line- it looks more and more as though it will come down to Florida...
I don’t disagree. I think they will trend back towards Trump. I believe he’ll win IA, FL, OH, CO, NV and Maine 2nd CD (plus all of the states asshat Romney won).
That is hugely bad news for dems because Michigan is a union state. These people are refusing to say they are not voting dem this election.
Nobody listens...
Hillary will not hold a single rust belt state beyond MN and IL.
Her only shot at a hold for a southern state is VA, she has no shot in FL.
Trump will not lose a single state Romney won, and Hillary is going to lose all sorts of states the Barry held in 12. The rust belt is going to fall and not only that but if R’s don’t screw it up, the rust belt will realign to be as reliably republican as the south, in a few cycles.
