Just a hopeful vanity. Any chance Freepers might decide to organize an Inaugural Ball in their respective areas when Mr. Trump wins? That having been said, I may not even be able to attend (I am caretaker for my elderly mom), but I sure would if I could! Last time I got together with Freepers, we were in Florida trying to save Terri's life. Before that, I was with you in front of Gore's mansion shouting, "Get out of Cheney's House!"

If I were Trump and I WON, I would cancel all plans for silly assed parties (balls) on grounds the country is broke and cannot afford them and he wants to go to work immediately.

My sister, brother, and SIL went to that one in 2001. It was quite an event — ball gowns and everything. I think Kristinn organized it, IIRC.
Any of you Freepers in the Beavercreek, OH (Dayton) area, we can probably rent the Mangan Banquet Hall. It has a maple dance floor upstairs with stage. We can get Corky’s Old Time Rock and Roll to play (I know the band). The lower level has tables and chairs and a full kitchen. We could do a carry in. For fun we can haul an establishment casket across the street to the funeral home.
When Trump gets elected President, I would like to see him have a simple swearing in ceremony inside the Capitol, not have any parade, not have any balls, and simply return to his office in the West Wing where he begins to immediately dismantle every piece of garbage executive orders that Obama has issued in the last eight years. Oh, I left out that he should find a way to fire the corrupt Comey.
We had a blast and yep - Kristinn organized it and did a great job!
A freeper called eeeeevil conservative and I met up there.
We happened to be staying in the same hotel as Terri’s family and had a light dinner with them. They were remarkably brave people.
