Certainly they have gross feature similarities. The front teeth match, the earlobes don’t. The eyebrows don’t match either.

Bill has recessive attached ear lobes Bill Jr. has dominant unattached ear lobes. Recessive are homogeneous traits... mamma could supply Bill Jr with a dominant gene and thus the ear lobes don’t match.
I agree. The teeth match... little else seems to match in a compelling manner, at least to my eye.
