If you were a military planner for one of our global enemies/rivals, and someone who is married to a former US President tells you how much time it will take for a nuclear response, the first thing you’d do is use that information to figure out how far from our coastline or border you’d have to be in order to launch a first strike that would take out command and control within that response-time gap. It’s highly irresponsible of her to have made these comments at all, let alone start a Twitter conversation about them. She’s unfit to hold any position of power.
I think you are right about it being a baited trap. talking about are emergency response time with nuclear weapons just seems stupid to do. as a voter it is not anything I need t know and is detrimental to be known by are enemies in a crises.
I hope you’re wrong. Threatening Putin with nukes is stupid because Putin has nukes too.

The real hell of it is the 4 minute response time is real.
From launch to impact is about 30 minutes. About 5 minuets from launch we or the Russians can see an attack. You are now down to 25 minutes from impact. You now have 20 minutes to decide if the attack is real and launch your missiles before you lose them. This gives you 20 minutes to decide as in 25 minutes your missiles are toast.
I do not want Hillary to make those kind of decisions. She is unhinged.
Actually we could absorb a first strike and lose every missile we have and then destroy any nation. Our boomers in the ocean are death from the deeps of the Atlantic, Pacific and even the Artic. They are the most formidable force of destruction every made by man.
I've often wondered if there wasn't some form of abuse when she was a child. She certainly harbors some issues.
Al Gore had a disturbing fascination with nukes too. He was excited by the thought that he would have the power to drop the bomb.

What one must think about is the history of Russia. Although a belligerent nation she has been attacked in WWII and by Napoleon in the past. These attacks ripped the soul out of the nation by their blood. They do remember it well. Nato surrounds her to East and West. Although Nato as such is not a danger to Russia one must also realize their paranoia of foreign invasion. Henry Kissinger understands but few listen.
What Hillary Clinton said in her twitter post, if real, is insane. She just upped the ante on nuclear warfare.

Actually I think Russia, China, etc. are well aware of our nuclear response times. What I think Hillary was doing was indicating to Putin that she is willing to play with the concept of nuclear war - that she's not afraid of going there, and that, therefore, he better watch out. She's like a 13 year old girl saying "I'll do it, I really will!"
What Putin sees is her horrifying level of immaturity, and therefore, insanity.
And he makes plans to defend himself from the clear and present danger she represents to Russia - and the world. And he's discussing that RIGHT NOW with the leaders of many, many other countries.
Hillary wanted to convince him she's serious.
She did.
