One thing that WORKS for this pain is 'Blue Emu' or 'Australian Dream' creme. This stuff WORKS for nerve pain, muscle pain, etc.. Working just as well as the more expensive Blue-Emu is Blue Goo. I buy it online for a very reasonable price for joint pain and swelling - wrists, knees and hips.
