Pennsylvania Poll Shows Tie Between Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump has pulled level with Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania, at 46 percent each, according to a new poll by Harper Polling.

The poll shows “signs of the race trending Trump in the waning days of the campaign, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are tied in the Keystone state (46-46%, 2% Johnson, 1% Stein, 4% Undecided),” said a statement by Harper Polling, which earns a good score in Nate Silver’s ranking of polling firms.

Trump’s gain in Pennsylvania could be decisive, because he needs to win one of the traditionally Democratic states to reach the victory line at 270 Electoral Votes, assuming he wins all the other states where he has a polling lead.

No. But they also haven’t figured in the fact that many unlikely voters will vote, that their assumed degree of support by Blacks for Clinton is “too damn high,” and the effect of social stigma on the answers they get from poll respondents.

First, apologies. If you click the "read more" link it takes you to Breitbart. Should have done that. Sorry.

Second, the more comprehensive info does take into account Philly fraud, but just tangentially. It says the 2012 turnout in that county was +465,000 for dems, and they think it unlikely that they can reach that number again.

MILLIONS of Trump supporters are quietly waiting to vote on election day....not via absentee or early voting..... So take your early polls and ...................

Why have we heard "0" about the military vote? Hillary hasn't figured out which ocean to dump them in yet?

Time for Democrat crooks to bring out their dead voters....praying the plot to steal this election will be thwarted by vigilant patriots.

Assume this poll is accurate. Where are the 4% undecided going to break? Can any of them break for Hillary? I don’t know if even 20% will. If they go 60-40 Trump it is all over.

I think Philadelphia - and Pittsburgh for that matter - is unknowable because no one there would dare admit they’ll vote for Trump, for fear of retribution.

Fortunately the voting booths are private.

PPD pollster Richard Baris said indies began to flip after FBI. If indies have flipped, DT gets MI and PA.

There was a recent poll that had Trump up in Pittsburgh (+6%) but down big in Philly (-33%). You neutralize Philly by going after the black vote. Each vote Trump gets makes it more challenging for the Dems to create fraud.

It is great he is courting them. I just wished he would actually visit the inner cities instead of merely mentioning them.

if i’m remembering correctly, in 2012, certain precincts in cleveland reported more dem votes than residents.

“It is great he is courting them. I just wished he would actually visit the inner cities instead of merely mentioning them.”

Oh, I thought he was. To a certain extent at least.

I agree, if Mr. Trump made the speeches in selected inner cities (like Philly), his black support would be substantially higher I think.

But then again I’m no expert on how to court votes so...

Nobody can calculate how many Philadelphia votes the Democrats hold in ‘reserve’. Watch some idiot judge agree to keep the polls open and extra hour or 2 because of ‘voting machine problems’.

OTOH, Hillary is campaigning hard in Philly which means she’s playing D and not available to campaign in other battleground states. This is what you want to see.
