I think a healthy tariff on the flood of mediocre French wine coming into the country would be a fitting response. After all, what else do we really import from France? And American wines are just as good as anything the French have to offer.
Actually, we do not need Europe. If they want to play tough guy, we will pull out of NATO, shut down our military bases, bring our guns, tanks, ships, planes, communications, missiles and personnel home.
Actions have consequences and we have a bigger hammer.
