Yes, I actually get Fox News live (not segments) streaming along with the other live channels. I usually DVR the programs so that I can skip the commercials. The quality of the picture is equal or better than I was getting with HD Cable. PlayStation Vue has a 7 day free trial period so it is easy to try out without risk.

Thanks. I will check out Comcast Business for my needs. I currently am a home comcast customer.

Amazon fire stick never worked with our Vizio smart tv.

PlayStation Vue basic channels include ESPN and ESPN2. Click here for list of channels. Other sports channels may be available at extra cost.

We have to completely starve the media. When possible, move to Internet-only packages. Use Roku and Sling with local tv stations for free or 5$/month.

Then, donate monthly to Free Republic and get the news on Free Republic with Freepers as critics.

“Please add me to your list. Trying to figure out how to get Roku working (still a noob) and where to go from there.”

Installing Roku with our Vizio and Comcast WiFi may have been the easiest thing I have ever done with computers/tvs going back to 1960. Plugged it in and followed the simple directions.

I can control it with my Acer tablet or Android Smartphone as well as the not that great remote from Roku. I can then go to any Sling tv show/channel I want with either device.

Do you need to purchase a PlayStation unit (a PS4, for instance) to stream channels through Vue? Sorry if it’s a stupid question; I just have no idea and have no knowledge about video game systems.

I love the fire tv stick too, but we haven’t cut the cord yet.

You do not need to purchase a PlayStation unit to stream channels with PS Vue. The Amazon Fire TV Stick ($40) works great. I have never tried a Play Station unit but my research indicates that the Fire TV Stick works better. Unless you want to also play games, I would suggest the Fire TV Stick. A key feature of the Fire TV Stick is the skip function to skip through commercials rather than just fast forward through them.

Excepting Newsmax fired a commentator who programed from a pro-Trump angle. Pro-Hilterly was fine.

Despite the outspoken Kelly and Smith, FOX was quite fair with Trump. And that includes O’Reilly, Cavuto, Dobbs, Hannity, and many of the daytime personalities. And Hannity was among the few that never flinched in his support as a conservative personality. Yes, the guest panels were often quite annoying.

OANN is cool. I checked it out a few times.

But if you’re serious about cutting the cord, cut off the parent companies: Disney, Comcast, and Time Warner. I have mixed feelings about Amazon.

I cut the cord today . . . nixed Direct TV. Is there any way to watch CSPAN without a provider?
