Mrs. Strac and three friends just returned from two hours of retail therapy. In most years, the stores at all the local malls would be overflowing with merchandise this weekend. Today, they were full of shoppers, but almost empty of items to purchase. The shelves were actually bare in many departments.
Mrs. Strac questioned a number of managers and received the same reply from each. They all reported they had been overflowing with merchandise on Friday, but as soon as the stores opened, they were inundated with record numbers of purchasers. These were not just “tire-kickers” but actual buyers. In addition, they were not just searching for low-cost bargains, but shoppers flooded the jewelry, designer and other high-priced, high-profit departments.
All the managers reported purchasers bought quickly, and with what they all described as “a renewed confidence.” A few even went so far as to say the buying spree didn’t begin last week, but they had seen a steady uptick in total sales, dollar amount of average sale and customer confidence ever since Thursday of election week.
One said, “It took a day for the consumer confidence to kick in, but when it did, it hasn’t abated.”
Americans are voting again this weekend. They are voting for American Exceptionalism with a voice and volume unheard since Reagan.
The bottom line; Trump will be good for America, and America knows it.

With all due respect, you sitting in your lair are telling that nothing is being done? Maybe not there but then again I really don’t think that anyone asked you what they should do and how they should do it.
Have so many here become so accustomed to having this administration telegraphing every strategical move that now they expect every administration to do the same?
Please, quit the whining that you are not personally involved in the decision making process and rest assured they are handling it in a way that will not telegraph what it is they are up to. Can we not just trust our leader who has shown a tremendous ability to lead?

In the military, we were trained to respect and trust our leaders. That is unless they started to give us unlawful orders. He has decades of experience in handling tough situations. Please give him the dignity to do what his experience says is right and trust he knows the temperature of the people on which way to steer.
He does not need this job to work for us. At least give him the dignity and respect deserved to his command actions to date.

Consumer confidence being up just makes sense with the stock market soaring to 19,000 last week—something that has never happened before. It’s being called the Trump Rally.
The markets are downright giddy about the Trump presidency.
Did I ever say to shut up? No. But your whining about they are doing nothing is not a suggestion. When in any military action, recon does not tell the Generals what to do or whine about what they perceive they are not doing because the key word here is perceive.
Recon reports the facts on the ground, that is what we should be doing and we are doing it well. Maybe even in some cases too well because the counter forces are monitoring this too. As evidenced that the owner of Reddit was deleting pertinent information does not give you a clue?
But, the overriding fact is that we are not in the chain of command decisions so maybe, just maybe a little less on the perceptions and just an open ear to find secure ways to disseminate information gleaned instead of an already discredited Reddit or any other social media.,
Trust that Trump and his people are way ahead of even us. He wouldn’t be where he is if they weren’t.
My understanding is that Trump has plenty of attorneys on the ground ready to pounce when they need to.

I was in the local Target with my wife a couple of weeks ago. We were standing in the shampoo and soap aisle.
I was a stock boy in high school, and I always look at how well the store is “fronted.” Its just one of those things I notice.
This time I noticed the store was fronted well. The stock was lined up and across the shelf space. The difference, that was actually pretty interesting, is there was not much depth. This was true across the entire department.
These items were staples...soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. And then I noticed it more and more throughout the store. It looked like some retail stores do the week before inventory in late January.
Go into stores and look at the stock. They might have a couple of everything, but not a lot of anything.
This is a bad sign.

Hey, einstein (lower case purposeful) As soon as I saw it on Friday morning, I knew what it was and I’m sure that Trump and his team knew it before we did.
Should we continue our suppositions? Hell yes! But again, don’t go on like you think they need our advice on what to do.
