Love this movie. And the whole family can watch it!
Sweet old movie. I haven’t seen it in years.
Debbie is 84 now. The rest of the cast must be long gone.

How the West Was Won is another good one with Debbie Reynolds. Lots of big names in this one and some great music. Walter Brennan is also in there.
If you like Walter Brennan then Rio Bravo is a fun John Wayne movie where Brennan has a great part as a cantankerous deputy. No Debbie Reynolds, but Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson show off their musical talent. Angie Dickinson is in the leading female role — maybe her first movie.

A few months ago we watched some episodes of “The SwampFox” with Leslie Nielsen. My wife and I were laughing when he would say serious, grave things. The kids couldn’t understand why.
In the 1960’s Al Capp cast her as “Debbie Wrinkles” in Li’l Abner.
He also depicted Joan Baez as “Joannie Phony”, which sparked a lawsuit.
