Loyal Seahawks Fan Sarah Palin Roots On Team While Media (Color) Rushes To Judgement
Breitbart ^ | December 18,2016 | KEVIN SCHOLLA

This past Thursday, Sarah Palin attended the Thursday Night Football game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. Her husband Todd, as well as best-selling author Debbie Macomber and others accompanied the former Alaska governor at CenturyLink Field, to watch the NFC West tilt. Seems pretty pedestrian. But while the Seahawks wore “Action Green” uniforms as part of the NFL’s Color Rush, some in the media saw red over Palin daring to have an opinion on just about anything. It’s all part of the media’s continued unnecessary roughness.

For Palin’s part, she had a blast. She posted pictures all over social media. She even got to chat pre-game with Seattle assistant coach and fellow Idaho Vandal Tom Cable. Seemingly just a normal American woman enjoying the American spectacle that is pro football. But, the media pounced harder than the Legion of Boom.

Palin’s football fandom was questioned by the Seattle Times. The headline read ‘Sarah Palin is apparently a Seahawks fan and is in attendance for Thursday Night Football’. Well, they got one thing right. Palin was there. But, “apparently” a Seahawks fan? What is that about? So the woman who made up a Trump-fueled, anti-Muslim attack was instantly believable. Hillary Clinton’s countless lies were given a free pass. Yet, the same media just can’t fathom Governor Palin likes one of the 32 NFL franchises, particularly the one closest to her home. Got it.

Thank You for Posting that Map Jack.

I wished I had remembered it, so glad you did.

Shows my point better than I ever could have said :)

(Though now the Rams location sure has changed LOL!)

Errr Houston, we've got a problem!! (With the map scale)

Here are a few interesting facts: ~Alaska is 2.4 times the size of Texas (424.9 X the size of Rhode Island)

~Alaska is larger than Texas, Calif. & Mont. COMBINED! That's Right!

~If you put a scale map of Alaska over a map of the U.S., Alaska would stretch from Disneyland, all the way to Disney World.

An old Eskimo man told me: "Mike (Embloom Designs Anchorage, AK., "Alaska Pissin' Off Texas Since 1959") - you know it's true; if you divide Alaska in half, Texas would become the 3rd largest state. BUT! he said with a smile: If you wait 'til the tide goes out, you could divide Alaska in 3rds and make Texas the 4th largest state!"

Seahawks fans, like the Palins; coming down from Alaska for the home games, is a big money maker for Seattle. The money they spend on transportation, hotel, food, drink and Seahawks memorabilia is nothing to ignore. Why is the Marxist Left always biting the hand that feeds them?

I wonder what Alaska Airlines has for Seahawks fans discount tickets?

Last year Alaska Airlines was the official airlines - but now it is Delta. So maybe they have a special.

Russell Wilson is still a big spokesman for Alaska in their ads. My BIL left on a flight and the gal said “Anybody wearing a Russell Wilson jersey can begin the boarding of the airplane.” One gal stepped forward! (Not sure if they do that all the time, or they knew the gal had first-class seats or what. But he said it was pretty funny!)

I quite getting the Seattle Times years ago. Although I did read the paper last week at a relative’s house. I LOVED it how all the articles were painting Trump in the worst possible way - about 4 articles and 2 editorials.

“Hey honey - the Times HATES Trump! I told you we voted for the right guy!”

I am glad the Palins made it out of Century Link Field without some liberal fan disrespecting them with foul language.

I think all of the journalism students (I was once one of them) from the Leftist U of W are on the Seattle Times staff. We call Seattle's boundary the "Iron Curtain of Seattle" because it is so Left wing in how it votes.

Seattle's huge population group determines the election results for the rest of Washington State. We have not had a Republican governor since 1985 because of the Seattle voting block. They are a cancer for the entire state.

The Seattle Times caters to the Leftist Seattle population and I refuse to read that liberal rag.

I really am sad, disappointed, pissed that Pres Trump snubbed Sarah for a cabinet post (Interior, Energy, EPA, ...).

We would have seen liberal heads exploding everywhere for the next four years, at least.

Besides, Sarah was extremely loyal to Trump, saving his a$$ in Iowa and bringing him through in Michigan.

Shame on you Mr. Trump!

Cool map. Of course, I happen to be the oddball Rams fan (pathetic but accurate showing on the map). I can also say that the Rockford, Illinois area is 40-40 Bears-Packers (10% Vikings, 10% other). Patriots support in Hartford, CT is a recent phenomenon. Hartford had been plurality Giants until the Pats started winning Super Bowls.

This one depends on users actually visiting the site...and it hasn’t been updated since 2010.

http://commoncensus.org/sports_map.php?sport=1

It has a much smaller sample size than facebook...the differences I see are:
Redskin support in Eastern North Carolina
Patriot support in upstate New York
Jets not completely dominated by the Giants
Raiders not completely dominated by 49ers near Oakland
(This may have changed with the rumors of them moving to LA)
Raider support near LA not in the CommonCensus map
)same rationale)
CommonCensus will leave area blank if they don’t get enough votes.
