Bro I curse like a mother ##### during the games when the commercials come on.
My wife became a football freak because of me, and though she voted Trump, she doesn’t see the propaganda as clearly as I do.
So she watches the games.
I wont lie. Probably will watch some playoff games.
But I didn’t watch NEARLY as much this year and went to NO Games, bought NOTHING.
And I was fighting FOR the NFL on here in September.
As usual, FReepers prove me wrong.

Salary offerings by spring of 2017, will be stagnant. No one should be paid any higher amount of pay. I think as the next season proves....fans aren’t coming back to football and the entire business model built will have to be brought in and re-examined. In a year....some players will see salary offerings that are 25-percent less than what they make today....simply because the fan base left.
If they STOP IT with the left wing commercials and NFL personality leftist tirades, get rid of the BS 12 hour pre pre pre game shows and that stupid song on Sunday nights, get rid of Thursday night...
then maybe they will make a comeback down the line.
And HOW THE HELL did the league not put pressure on the 49ers to not start Colin.
AND they just gave him an award!!

I won’t lie either. I will probably watch some playoff games and the Superbowl. But that’s not near as much as I used to watch. And I certainly don’t support their advertisers.
Agreed. And they lost AT LEAST 400 in games attended and paraphernalia that we would have spent if they didn’t act like idiots.
And I’ll NEVER buy Bud again. Their commercials were a disgusting disgrace.
I read that their sales started tumbling down and they immediately started making “macho” commercials to air.
They were in a survey I took, and asked what it would take to get me back as a patron. I said “Nothing”.
Same as I told Target when they asked the same question.
I rarely ever watch TV anymore. There’s really just too much of everything on tv and I’ve lost interest. I didn’t know that about Bud. Bud Light is now off my future shopping lists.
Besides football and the debates, I have not watched TV this year.
I use Amazon Prime and choose what I want to watch.
I’m sure three are a few good shows i’m missing. I’ll live :)
I don’t see a comeback. In fact, within two years, I think one state will pass legislation that stops high school football from being played as a contact sport because of brain injury potential. That will hinder the high school and university side of the sport in that one state, and it’ll quietly spread over the next ten years.
Not to seem doom and gloom....but I think the golden era of football has peaked out and it’s got less than 15 years of life left in it.
Ya got me beat, but I do go back to watching the 49'ers in the late 60's at Kezar Stadium. It is where the seagulls flew over and crapped on everyone and they had to build a chain link tunnel for the players to get to the field without being hit by beer bottles. Ah, the good old days of the NFL.
The NFL lost me as a fan last year. This season they lost my hubby.
Fans need a new league.
The concussion thing is big. I boxed for a number of years and of course I got headaches. I stopped when they started lasting longer than 10 or 15 minutes at a time.
We’ll see what I’m like at 70!!
But the left wing BS and the Colin crap certainly sped things up towards their demise.
Many football players should personally thank him when they find out there are no raises in a few years.
