Luke 17:26 speaks of the "days of Noah". Much of what we know about that time is that man was continually evil. One thing we forget is the covenant God made with Noah was the rainbow. As Satan is a liar and counterfeiter, what better sign to counterfeit than the rainbow for sodomites. The very next verse speaks of Lot being rescued from Sodom.

Leviticus 18:22-30 speaks of what God would do to the Hebrews that allowed homosexuality to be legal in the promised land. For me, these verses suggest homosexual sin could be the breaking point for God's patience with man. As Noah is a picture of the New Testament Rapture, IMO, we could be Raptured at any time now. We kill our babies as they did with Moloch and Baal. Fornication is the norm with our children and adultery is commonplace today. We all see lying and thievery is rampant. Just run down the list of blasphemy, pride, idol worship, envy, ect, and you see there is none left to condemn today. They call evil; good, and of course they call good; evil. We see people confess they are church going Christians, yet their church is now doing gay weddings and they spout "equality" on TV and call believers bigots. The acceptance of sodomites in polite society could very well be the last sin accepted by the earth to shun God.

As Noah was told to get in the Ark 7 days before the first drop of rain fell, the true church will not feel one second of God's wrath on the "earth dwellers". Lot was removed from Sodom 3 days before the first brimstone fell. God always saves His remnant before catastrophe falls.

The question is, are we ready to go? Do we look back as Lot's wife did? We must long for His coming, even if it means our children and loved ones aren't saved. We can't carve idols in our minds, of a god that is not in the Bible. Most of us have a homosexual somewhere in our circle of family and friends or a woman that has had an abortion. We cannot side with the loved one over the Word of God and think we worship the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The whole point of salvation is to stop rebelling against God. We either choose God or choose the world. God will NOT accept the double minded, or the lukewarm. The parable of the 10 virgins( Mat 25) will determine who goes in the Rapture. many think the foolish virgins are lost people. As virgins are the church, that means they are church members. They weren't found "doing" what Jesus told His people they must do to be His wife. The servants spoken of in following parables are still servants, not lost people, but some fell short of the Commandment to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love their neighbor as themselves. I keep hearing we are not under the Law anymore. While we are NOT under the OT Law, That Law is now covered by the commandment Jesus gave us and has written it on our hearts. If we love Jesus with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, we will read His Word, pray His will, follow His instruction, and be working for Him in everything we do. We cannot follow His will if we do not love our fellow man as we would love ourselves. Many call themselves Christian today that have taken the Savior's name in vain. Taking His name in vain doesn't mean cursing. There are plenty of verses that speak on a filthy mouth or coarse language, but when we call ourselves "Christians", we must honor our "Husband" as we carry His name. When we rebel against something God has written in His Word, we dishonor Him and curse ourselves. No one forces anyone to Be called Christian, but when we take His name, we should at least believe what He says is true.

If we somehow believe that God has changed His mind since Sodom was burned to the ground, we are making up our own god and worshiping the wrong god. God changeth not.
