NY currently has a moratorium on the death penalty. Can you think of a more gruesome crime than killing and sawing off your own mother’s head? Remember this when you meet the next rabid liberal not in favor of the death penalty.

I just read Thomas Aquinas on the subject of the death penalty. He believed that only the state could do it and that it was to remove the infection. Sounds reasonable to me.
