Didn’t SEARS just sell their Craftsman line to Black and Decker?

They have nothing left and Black and Decker isn’t known for anything but crap.

Oh well.

About the only good Craftsman item there is: prybars. I would consider using a Craftsman socket set to drive out old bearings using a table vise, c clamp, or ball peen. For everything, I endorse Gearwrench.

Yes, and Sears is about to go under anyway. KMart here is a waste of time as well.

Craftsman / B & D has gone the way of harbor freight.

Formerly American tooling combined with shitty chinese steel and non-existing quality control.

Yes, Sears just sold off their Craftsman tool line and their Diehard battery line. What’s left of any quality to buy there now? Right now, they’re also selling their baby clothes for 50% off. I guess our local Sears will be closing soon.

This has become a shoppers paradise now that all of our manufacturing has been sent abroad. Just think, now we can choose between Black and Decker or Harbor Freight.

Even Delta and Porter Cable tools are made in China, and their quality is steadily eroding.
