Trump Disses ‘Not Smart Enough’ Mark Cuban, Sparking New Feud (White House thinks he may run 2020)

Very early Sunday morning, Donald Trump took to Twitter to once again let loose. This time, Mark Cuban was in the crosshairs.

“I know Mark Cuban well,” POTUS tweeted. “He backed me big-time but I wasn’t interested in taking all of his calls. He’s not smart enough to run for president!”

The billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks and investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank” responded simply, “LOL.”

An hour later, Cuban tweeted that he didn’t know what triggered the president’s comment, saying, “But isn’t it better for all of us that he is tweeting rather than trying to govern?”

The Post reports that “the White House’s ‘biggest fear’ is that Cuban, a billionaire businessman, would run because he can appeal to Republicans and independents.” Another WH insider went on to say, “He’s not a typical candidate. He appeals to a lot of people the same way Trump did.”

The source added, “If you believe in the Trump revolution, you can believe a candidate like Mark Cuban could win an election. And Mark is the kind of guy who would drop half a billion dollars of his own money on the race.”

Isn’t CUBAN the one who filmed GIRLS GONE WILD during Spring break several years ago. The PINK PUSSYCATS will really love him. NASTY and SLEEZY.

I don’t like it either. I’m just tired of this distraction with so-called rapport between rivals. He even used the prayer breakfast to take a dig at Schwarzenegger. Disappointing

But he could probably become Governor or Senator of Minnesota easily enough.

Sigh...

Mark Cuban, famed luckyprenuer shorted the market before the election in case Trump won. Oopsie! He bought theatre chain whose 1900s business model lies in smoking ruins. Oopsie again! Smartass prick.

> Sounds like you agree if it was him it was a bad idea? More and more I think he needs to be more Judicious about the tweets. They are a great tool but on the face of it this was just silly.

Yeah. I don't think it serves any purpose to alienate potential enemies in celebrity land because of the hive mindset. Something about the tweet doesn't sound Trumpish though. I'd like to hear it from the horse's mouth if he really made that tweet.

Cuban lives in the Dallas, Texas area.

Also, his ancestry is Russian. Many people assume he is Hispanic because of his name, but his ancestor’s name was changed when he emigrated from Russia.

I don’t like the idea that any big name reality TV star can run for president, I guess it’s the times we live in and name recognition counts but c’mon. Can we get back to boring retired generals and career politicians who’ve trained their whole life for the job

If he was going to go after someone it should have been Bill
Maher who accused him of incest on Friday. This at least be justified. Someone goes on national television and says the POTUS wants to commit incest and is going to get away with are you kidding me!?

I do not know why Trump did this

Probably to ramp up competition for the dem nomination. If they have an ugly nomination process, that would be WONDERFUL.

Maybe Trump decided that that one didn’t even deserve a response because it would just draw more attention to it. Dunno.

Mark Cuban thinks he can attract Republicans? 2012 proved that Republican primary voters won't support a Cuban.

He could always change his name back to Chabenisky and see if that helps win votes.

That should have read: 2016 proved that Republican primary voters won't support a Cuban.

No Cubans running in 2012, as best that I can recall. Just some guy whose father was born in Mexico.

I don’t believe Cuban, who is Jewish, could bridge the gap between voters.

“If Cuban had recently said anything against Trump, then Trump certainly needs to punch back. But this seems to be a shot at Cuban out of nowhere.”

Mark Cuban has been going after Trump since the early days of the Republican primary season. Trump is punching back because Cuban has made himself an easy target.
