I don’t take particularly well to pundit fanbois telling me I’ve got black marks in their little permanent records. But, just for that record, there was no substance in your comment. Thus the reply, and this one as well for that matter.

I put very little store in any of the punditry, in case you're confused. I can stomach Rush in very small doses. Mark Steyn is OK most of the time. Savage? Annoying, self-serving waste of time. Levin? Same.
I didn’t hear that. There were no hints. He would like a job with Trump, but I think it’s just his wishful thinking.

Then, after a while, Connie would email him and then call him and Rush had her on a lot of the times and talked about FREEPERS ( though never by name ) a lot. It's not about "me"; it's what went on, is all.
You see I used to listen to Levin with his shallow references to Weiner while also frequenly referring to the "Great Bob Grant." If anyone else made a big deal about the transition from Weiner to Savage, I sure don't know about it.

Bob Grant was THE best...ever; until ABC took him down, he came back, but on WOR, and toned it down far too much.

If there is a secret decoder ring that only comes from some pundit’s talk show, making it mean something other than “pal,” you’d be correct.
You didn't hear him make some reference to being on an airplane as the reason he missed doing the show the day before? You didn't hear him, after he read from his new book, say that he thought he would bring a copy along to give to his host on Saturday night? I did. And I thought he sounded proud of it too.
