Orange County, Florida —

A deputy was shot Tuesday in Orange County, officials with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

The gunfire was reported in the 8500 block of South Texas Avenue near Americana Boulevard just before noon.

No information was released on the deputy’s condition, but we’re told the deputy was shot in the arm and the leg.

No details were released on a possible suspect.

The deputy was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Dozens of law enforcement officers remained at the scene of the shooting at an apartment complex.

Interstate 4 west was briefly shut down to make way for emergency vehicles.

“No details were released on a possible suspect.”

Ann Coulter had a rule about the longer it took law enforcement to announce the race/ethnic background on a suspect in a violent crime. The more likely the suspect was a minority!
