A shooting in Houston wounded two police officers Tuesday, one critically, as investigators engaged in a frantic hunt for one suspect. Officials urged people in the area, in the city's southwest, to shelter in place, Fox 26 reported.
An additional suspect was killed in the gunfire, according to KTRK. Police were approaching a home in a burglary call when shots rang out, sources told Fox 26.
One officer was in critical condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center but injuries were unclear.
The officer officer was recovering in stable condition at Ben Taub Hospital. Aerial video from the scene showed officers with K-9s scouring the area. Police did not immediately name the suspects.

Houston is an absolute mess these days. Within the past few days there have also been two separate road-rage shootings (leaving a young mother dead in one incident, and an eight-year-old girl dead in the other), and a robbery at a Subway restaurant in which a teen employee was murdered in front of his mother.
I haven’t heard of any arrests yet in any of those three cases.
Yes, prayers up for all who are impacted by this crime and tragedy.
Lots of bad stuff seems to be happening in that area lately.
It’s a pretty vibrant area.

The city is suffering from a depressed oil industry that has lasted more than a year. Too many white collar unemployed and many stores and restaurants have shut down.
But BLM?
Not in my book when they keep doing this evil.
