Drugs are free or low cost at the V.A. depending on what category of veteran you are...

That's true but they are not that low cost if you are a vet with 2 years service, non-combatant: a flat $8.00 for a 30-day supply of a generic drug.

That’s what I was paying for EACH of my two blood pressure meds- after I decided to try my luck with Humana, I got them free.

VA under disability pulled the 5 bad teeth hubby had, they charged a full month for 5 pills of antibiotics. He has Medicare and Tricare Life. 20 yr career Navy. Our private dentist was contracted to make the dentures.

Does not matter if it is private or not 5 pills is a full month’s co-pay for any drug.

Tricare Life for over 65 DoD Mandated you use Military base for scripts which are FREE. Or Express Scripts...FRAUD PRONE, shoves your scripts in your mail box NO ID Sign for. Charges you 1 month for 3 months of scripts. NO NARCOTICS. Base narcotics are monthly and if for chronic pain it must say so. Otherwise it’s a 2 week supply.
