Probably not all of them, but I would guess most of them could be tracked.

Come on, look at the map for the 2000s. At least half are out in the ocean somewhere. The Romans and Chinese never tracked these, and the Japanese--maybe if it resulted in a tsunami.

Many others are in diverse places not inhabited by ancient civilizations like Antarctica, the Aleutians, South Pacific islands, New Zealand and Africa.

And the other half are clearly on land in populated areas.
Folks are still going to feel those. We’re talking “major” earthquakes here 7.0 and above.
