The one in the driveway was shot in the house and ran outside and died in the driveway. He “succumbed to his wounds” the paper says.
I doubt there is much worry though if he was shot in the back he can be rolled over and plugged with a matching hole from the front.

A Tulsa TV station quotes a cop who says that the burglars were dressed in black with masks and gloves on. And they had a getaway driver.
So it sounds like a genuine home invasion robbery as advertised, and not a busted drug deal or something else masquerading as self-defense.
Some friends of mine were involved in a case that the press loved back in the 70s, a girl who had killed a man who she said was assaulting her. She was a big hero to the feminist crowd, who rallied to her side. But as it turned out she was just a murderer who had killed the dude for personal reasons.
