Qatar Airways said on Thursday it will offer free laptops to business class passengers flying to the United States, in an effort to get round an American ban on electronics.
In a statement, the Doha-based carrier said it would begin offering a "laptop loan service" to those travelling in business class from "next week".
The computers would be collected by US-bound passengers from their departure gate just before boarding, said Qatar Airways.

Someone is going to have to help me here. Doesn’t it seem logical that if Muslims have targeted all westerners that will not join there “religion/sect” and face death or dis-membership by doing so, and the countries that have the most muslims in them have the most people to carry out that threat, and it is their threat not ours, then why not place sanctions on those countries efforts to carry out those threats?
But, in the “he who laughs last category,” if Qatar Airlines wants to present themselves as a courier for possibly threat of US citizens, then two things can happen:
1. Every passenger and crew member will be deplaned individually on the tarmac and searched to include body cavity,
or 2., Qatar will be denied landing privileges on American or territory soil and we’ll see just how much money they can lose and stay in the air?
No problem. They have to realize that making a threat like this has reaction to action. And they need to be prepared to suffer the consequences for their actions. Simple. They may play the game, but they don’t make the rules on our soil, we do.
