Oh, for heavens sake. Canine aquatic center. Who needs a canine aquatic center? More stupidity. Some people think their dogs are children.
There are highly reputable and useful facilities for water therapy for dogs with arthritis, dysplasia and other joint conditions.
It is a useful therapy for an ailing dog.
This was not that, however.
So true. Anyone with any sense whatsoever knows their CATS are their children. And their parents. And their bosses.
Anyone with an elderly dog would appreciate a canine aquatic center for therapy. After the 2011 flood, the creek bed changed and was unsafe for my elderly dog. I wished there was a controlled environment where I could have taken him. He loved the water so much!
Meanwhile, my previous dog was terrified of water. I never forced him into the water or even considered of teaching him to swim when I noticed his fear.
Some dogs take to water, some don't. Swimming lessons? yes, that's stupid.
My bulldog’s “canine aquatic center” is a $9 kiddie pool from Walmart.. if I tried to put him in anything else he’d sink right to the bottom, and I have enough common sense to know that without paying thirty bucks to find out by watching him die.
I agree it is stupid to put dogs in deep water against their will!!
