Agree. Yes, Russia is hollow demographically and economically. But it still has thousand pieces of nuclear weapons. Do Trump and his generals really want to go to a nuclear war over 70 Syrian civilians killed? Or even for Crimea taken by the Russians?
Its a long game. The deep state needs to weaken Russia. Russia insists on its own culture, language, religion, borders and ability to act unilaterally, as a nation.
These are things that all nations used to believe, but are to be abolished under the utopian dreams of progressives, statists, and globalists working under the banner of the US Dollar.
The fact that Russia is a european power, makes them and their position even more of a threaten.

They’re convinced the Russians won’t use nukes because and I quote: “It didn’t happen during the cold war so it won’t happen now”. The reason the deep state is trying to destroy Russia because they threw off liberalism and are returning to traditional Russian ways. Libs can’t have that. If Russia can be Traditional other nations might try it as well and their deep state empire will come tumbling down.

I don’t know about that. While Obama was letting our nuclear deterrent deteriorate the Ruskies have been modernize theirs. They now have a super missile that can carry (I think) up to 20 MIRVs. They say one missile can take out the whole state of Texas.
