China Puts Country On 'NATIONWIDE ALERT:' Scrambles 25,000 More Troops to North Korea Border

CHINA has scrambled another 25,000 troops to be militarised along the North Korean border as the country is put on ‘nationwide alert’ amid heightened tensions between the hermit state and the West, according to reports.

All five regions military regions from China have been ordered by Beijing to maintain readiness for the possibility of conflict along their border with Kim Jong-un’s kingdom, according to UPI.

China’s armoured and mechanised infantry brigades in the Shandong, Zhejiang and Yunnan provinces have been given the go-ahead.

The troops being deployed from China to the Korean peninsula are from the 47th group army of the Ninth Armoured Brigade, the Information Centre for Human Rights and Democracy.

China has already sent 150,000 troops to the North Korean border on Sunday, Taiwan’s China Post has claimed.

It comes after the US and South Korea conducted joint military exercises around the peninsula.

USS Carl Vinson’s strike group has been deployed to the Korean peninsula in a show of force towards Pyongyang after the hermit nation has carried out a series of provocative missile launches and nuclear tests.

Chinese president Xi Jinping begged Donald Trump to pursue a peaceful resolution to the meltdown in the crisis during a phone call between the pair.

Despite the pleas, North Korea looks to set to detonate a nuclear device this week, according to the Voice of America.

The device is expected to set off the device on Saturday.

A National Security Council official said: “We have no comment at this time but we will be watching closely.”

I live in the Fat Crazy Kids threatened target area here in western Washington.
Every thing is in normal bias mode.
Local news I saw only talked of Syria, Russia, Trump, bad, sad etc. Normal.
Yeah, the media is excited, they love war.

Look, we are buzzing around China with great force because North Korea keeps threatening Japan and South Korea. If China ends the madness in North Korea than we move on. Japan does not want us around. And neither will South Korea. Our Navy is annoying to them. China should understand that North Korea keeps us active in the region.

Trump declares China is not a currency manipulator.

China moves 25,000 troops to the border with the DPRK.

I DON'T BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCES.

Losing your economical viability to the ChiComs is way more important then the little crazy fat man that is all show and no blow.

Trump is bargaining away a lot here. All speculation because nobody is talking to us.

I agree with your points mostly, I was only saying that I’ve read articles where Bannon seems to think war with China is/was inevitable. I agree, China has a terrible human rights record, etc.

https://www.usnews.com/news/national-news/articles/2017-02-02/steve-bannon-once-said-there-would-be-imminent-war-with-china

This or any number of other articles shows this.

Trump also talked about certain things that China has agreed to buy from us. U.S. beef was one of the things. Think of that massive potential market over there.

Look, if our sales to China go up significantly, I’m not so worried about what China sells to us.

If we can come near parity, that’s good. That means we have jobs here and they have jobs there. That’s reasoned.

Our businesses here are investing tens of billions in infrastructure here and new jobs.

This IS heading in the right direction on trade, and most certainly jobs.

Did you watch him the other night?

He talked about making progress on North Korea and Trade.

He talked about China agreeing to purchase our beef (which they have refused to do before) and other things.

My goal is not to specifically nail China on currency manipulation as much as increase our trade significantly.

Evidently Trump made progress on it, and we’ll see the extent of that in short order.

Oh great. We ship them food stuffs, coal, oil, empty shipping containers and recycled raw materials and they ship us manufactured goods. What screw job that is. We get cheap toaster ovens but pay $12.50/lb for steak and 3.00/gal for gas. How stupid are we? What a curse globalism is.

North Korea serves no purpose and is really bad for business. Furthermore, cleaning up the mess gets more expensive by the day. It’s just good business to “retire” them soon rather than let them continue dragging everyone’s balance sheets.
We finally have a business savvy administration and this extreme liability will be addressed

You don’t even know what the full conversation was, but here you are attacking Trump for really screwing up.

You’re better than that.
