When that happens to me in Android, I press again in the reply window to ensure that it has focus. Then it sizes properly.
BTW, did you know you can drag the lower right corner of the FR Reply window to resize it?

I do on a regular computer, so I know what you're talking about. But not on the tablet. I'd love to be able to resize it on the iPad. I think that's what Yaelle is talking about too.
