The government doesn’t pay for anything. We the people do. The government only borrows what they can’t confiscate.
Well, "borrows" gives the misconception that the money gets returned. It really never gets returned, the government later "borrows" to make payments on what it previously "borrowed". Of course, you and I know that. We just sigh and get more pissed off that the government caters to freeloaders while scalping us.
