“That young mothers crying was getting to be annoying. I can understand her crying but that was way too long.”
I dunno. She’s traveling with twin babies, it appears she’s traveling alone, and probably was on her last nerve when she finally got to her seat. If the lady was smacked with a stroller, which they usually bring on in a folded position, that’s one more thing to add to the angst. I’m willing to cut her some slack here.
Everyone is pig-piling on the male passenger, but we don’t know what transpired before filing began. Maybe he’s the hero by trying to assist an overtaxed lady, and the other passengers are happy to be sheep.
I know that I’ve been subjected to all kinds of indignities from the minute I stepped from the curb into an airport — without babies — and easily could’ve had an emotional episode. Can’t even imagine doing it with kids.

I suspect the era of “sit down, shut up and take it” timidity is - hopefully - becoming passe. The guy is a hero simply in standing up and saying what happened was wrong.
Thanks for the very good perspective. After looking at it again, I think you are right on.
