LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Parents are taking action against the Jefferson County Public School system, after a video surfaced of a heinous attack on their young child.

The King family, represented by Teddy Gordon, called a press conference Wednesday, at which they spoke about what happened to their 12 year-old daughter. The Kings will join seven other families from Crosby Middle School that are already part of a pending lawsuit against the school system. Filed in December, the lawsuit alleges that school leaders and the Crosby Middle school administration continue to allow bullying in middle school.

Imagine if this was workplace violence. Would anyone even consider going back or giving a pass to the school administrators who obviously are not able to control the animals in their charge? Would not the injury lawyers be lining up to take down the corporation who allowed this type of violence to be tolerated? Unbelievable what children have to suffer so that the public schools can stay open and in business.
Children should not be used as front line soldiers in violent schools in an attempt to reform the culture.

Worse than that. Schools use the Ed Code to make the school their own little universe, complete with owning the kids, and with doling out punishment.
The claim to own the kids 24/7 by punishing them for social media comments made while at home.
Criminal offenses are handled internally, and no justice is done. Cops are not called then they should be (assualts, rapes, drugs). Cops are called when they should not be (6 yo handcuffed for hitting teacher).
Self defense, real, justified, legal self defense is cause for being expelled for fighting.
And that is just a start. Learned the hard way.

The Jefferson County school system is a disaster.
Financially as well. Last audit revealed over 300 employees getting paid over $100K. The state is intervening in that regard.
While I Like Louisville in most ways, it is a liberal enclave run by tax and spend libs. And it shows in many ways. The city residents keep voting for it.
One thing that they learn quick is no one will prosecute them.
