FAIRMONT, W.Va (WBOY) -A Fairmont man has been convicted of sexually assaulting and sexually abusing five children over a period of five years after a trial concluded in Marion County on Monday.
Iran Eli Glover, 42, was found guilty on all 143 counts against him after a jury deliberated for three hours. He is now convicted of 48 counts of first degree sexual assault, 25 counts of first degree sexual abuse and 72 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person of trust.
The jury must be unanimous on each count in order to convict.

Well, apparently some can. Elizabeth Smart seems “ok”. There have been others who have, in wanting to conquer their abuser, said how “great” they are doing. I personally don’t know how they do it. As well, if “all is well” or can be well, the crime seems less heinous than it must stay. I don’t know. It’s totally sick and perverted all round.

I don’t know. No physical evidence, children being confused on details and pointing to anatomical drawings, and a theatrical district attorney. It sounds uncomfortably close to the witch hunt trials (McMartins, Amiraults, etc.) of the 1980s and 1990s. I don’t know the guy and he may well be guilty, but the evidence sure seems pretty thin.
