“We went to DC in 2009 and were largely ignored by the powers that be.”

We have to go in numbers that cannot be ignored. Numbers that cannot be controlled. Numbers that can choke every street in DC.

And we have to do it without organization. We have to just get up and go. A peaceful assembly and petition for redress of grievances.

Trump can only sign executive orders.

We need to hold Congress and the Senates feet to the fire

I saved the PDF as a text file.
I opened the text file under edit.
Then I did a find & mark on “2018” in the file.
I turned “show line numbers” on, then counted the number of lines bookmarked.

Here’s the first 10.

1 until September 30, 2018, shall be available for policy
2 Initiative shall remain available until September 30, 2018:
3 2018: Provided, That appropriations hereunder shall be
4 until September 30, 2018; and in addition such sums as
5 30, 2018, of which such sums as are made available
6 30, 2018: Provided, That notwithstanding section
7 available through December 31, 2018, shall be placed in
8 available through September 30, 2018: Provided further,
9 through September 30, 2018: Provided further, That none
10 to remain available through September 30, 2018: Provided,

Not sure why 2018.
I’m looking for a caveat.
I haven’t found it yet.
I can’t tell by the dollar amount whether the funding is only for 5 months or thru 09/30/2018.

My hopes for Trump were that he would be the Pinochet that we require if we are to get the Republic back. Constitutional procedures cannot get it back because they require Congress to co-operate which cannot happen. Congressmen do not represent their voters. Their major income and future prospects come from the companies who lobby them and the billionaires. They will not buck them. The best we can get from Donald Trump if he continues to “work with Congress” is a regulatory and maybe a tax reduction that gives us a few years of prosperity. Then that will all be chipped away just as Reagan’s tax and regulatory reform was chipped away by those who came after him. This time I fear the erosion will be faster and will be terminal. Congress is not going to make the mistake it made with Reagan which was to pass major constructive legislation. The globalists will not allow that again.

Still have bitch McConnel

Obama had the Tarp bill on his desk on day one.

Trump has passed Zero legislation because Congress and the Senate have undermined him.

We got Gorsuch on the Supreme court and maybe that’s the long game

Time to get busy with an Article V convention. It may be the only way to turn this ship around.

I could be way wrong here. This is what I am seeing.

I still haven't figured it out. maybe the legislative experts here can shed some light.

For instance, here is the SNAP section. (78 billion for 4-5 months?)

SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

For necessary expenses to carry out the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.), $78,480,694,000, of which $3,000,000,000, to remain available through December 31, 2018, shall be placed in

Maybe we should all become Democrats. It may be easier to change the Democrats from the inside than the Republican Party form the outside.

You seem to have set up something that you can search pretty regularly. I was going through the 1,600-page document looking to see if the restrictions on spending ANY funds on building a border wall extended beyond September 2017. But, given my limited time available, couldn’t find that. If you get a chance can you check to see if that PROHIBITION in the legislation is “open ended”?

I think that there are a lot of booby traps and snares for President Trump in this bill. For example, on the bottom of page 603 (Section 208a), I saw this:

SEC. 208. (a) Beginning on the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall not—

(1) establish, collect, or otherwise impose any new border crossing fee on individuals crossing the Southern border or the Northern border at a land port of entry; or

(2) conduct any study relating to the imposition of a border crossing fee.

(b) In this section, the term ‘‘border crossing fee’’ means a fee that every pedestrian, cyclist, and driver and passenger of a private motor vehicle is required to pay for the privilege of crossing the Southern border or the Northern border at a land port of entry.

This section has a beginning date (Date of Enactment) but no ending date so it goes on past September 30th. This is not needed in a continuing resolution but, as best as I can tell, means Congress is TAKING AWAY ONE OF PRESIDENT TRUMP’S CHIPS THAT HE COULD PLAY IF MEXICO DOES SOMETHING SIMILAR. If he signs this bill into law, Trump will be forbidden to take a similar measure if Mexico sets up a border crossing fee for Americans entering Mexico. MY INTERPRETATION IS THAT OUR FRIGGIN’ CONGRESS IS RUNNING INTERFERENCE FOR MEXICO. Bastards!!

Here’s the link for the details that I searched in this MONSTROSITY.

Why do we employ them? they vote their interests not ours.
That horse has left the barn.

They vote themselves pay raises, the vote to opt out of what they shackle us with.

Give them the black spot, all off them and let the chips fall.
