Why does the article say “in front of” the White House. Isn’t the front on Pennsylvania Ave? If so, the new restriction is “in back of” the White House.
I would guess that a fancy place like the White House does not have a “back entrance” or a “back door.” It has a South Entrance. Foreign visitors often enter the Diplomatic Reception Room from the South Entrance.
