Just because it is POSSIBLE that a woman will pay more for coverage if she has had rape-related medical expenses in the past, does not mean that she WILL pay more. In fact, if insurance companies are allowed to freely compete for her business, she will probably pay a lot less. If the government gets out of the way, insurance companies can do a good job of assessing risk and determining appropriate, competitive premiums. If is POSSIBLE that without government control, insurance companies will selectively and unfairly target rape victims, or Lithuanians, or bus drivers. Possible does not mean probable.
I guess the author of this piece never heard about the huge Obamacare premium price hikes. That news disappeared instantly down the leftist memory hole.
