Now, to see how the National Assembly elections go.
The Socialist Party and the Republicans will likely take 65-percent of the 577 seats. Le Pen’s National Front....maybe 20-percent. Macron’s Progressive Party (existing only since 2016) will be lucky to get 15 to 20 seats. So Macron will have to adapt his entire program to the Socialist Party agenda and get used to them dictating how things will work.
Macron’s glory period will last, at best, through the end of 2018. By that point, he’s like Hollande....marginalized and no clear path ahead.
