I kind of agree. There is lots of smoke around this issue. Now, it may just be smoke that looks really bad. Something that you’d like to avoid if you want to be completely above board. If there is something meaty truly there, it will come out eventually. But between his taxes and this BS, eventually I think he’s going to have to start being more transparent.
I have an MS in Taxation so I can guess what his tax return would look like. I can’t imagine why he’s being so obstinate about it unless there’s something dumb there, like he only gave $1 to charity or some such nonsense. The audit excuse, I hate to say, is bupkis.

I take it the exact same way. I think that he wants it under oath because it will either: a) result in a truthful statement about someone breaking the law; or b) result in (yet) another lie from Rice...which would be grounds for a perjury prosecution. That, in turn, could be used to go for bigger fish (Loretta Lynch and Obama, among others). No, he's not afraid of anything - he knows that the weight of the evidence is against the Leftist usurpers trying to undermine our government, and he's simply trying to move the process of eliminating them and their influence along a bit faster.
