There’s a huge difference between an older man / younger woman union and the Macron relationship. Old guys can have kids. Old ladies cannot. There was never going to be a Barron Trump from the Macron marriage. By the time he was no longer a teen, she was menopausal.
On the other hand the Macron union had a child, namely Mr. Macron. He married his new Mommy.
And the childlessness of the Macrons makes them the part of the European leadership norm. The UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, and Italy are all headed by childless globalists. They have no skin in the game and are quite happy to drive their nations into oblivion while Muslim migrants fill up the maternity wards.
